Scuba Diving in one of the most stunning coral reef environments of the Caribbean. Approximately 10 miles south of Gran Roque, after crossing the shallow waters of the archipelago we find Boca de Cote. Here we can see some relatively flat terraces next to the coast, 3 to 9 meters deep. Coral predominant in this area are the fire colored corals and a wide variety of fish species and under the great mass of stone coral, tiger sharks. Right after this terrace a wide slope begins of about 40 to 50 degrees and then falls down to about 50 meters where the sandy bottom begins. Some 25 meters deep branches of black coral and cylindrical sponges are quite abundant. Some times the visibility in this area is over 40 meters
