Company History

FOB ECOBUZOS TOURS was founded in Margarita Island in July 1995 as a company specialized in diving tourism, initially in Margarita. In 2000 we expanded our operations to the National Park Roques, under Grant # 0007 issued by the Ministry of Environment of Venezuela.

It has been 11 uninterrupted years of operations, diving nearly 300 days a year, under ideal weather conditions in this part of the Caribbean, given that we are outside the hurricane belt. We have solidified our position as the #1 operator in Los Roques, with evermore increase in demand.   We strive every day to make sure our customer expectations are fully met, while maintaining a high degree of professionalism and safety.

Our staff is headed by Pablo Montoya, a PADI IDC Staff member with ample experience, which makes him a legend of scuba diving in this part of world and a well known guide in San andres Colombia, Malpelo, and other parts of Colombia and the Caribbean. We have consolidated our position as the # 1 operator in Los Roques, with ever increasing demand. We strive every day to ensure that our customers' expectations are met fully, while maintaining a high degree of professionalism and security.

Los Roques has everything to be one of the best diving destinations in the world. Even though our specialty is in Scuba Diving plans and vacations, our many years of experience in the travel business allow us to customize packages and travel options that go beyond scuba diving, at any of our destinations.
